Hi there. I’m nosleepsami, the creator of Daily Puulse.
My love for music has been constantly evolving since I was a child. I feel like I am truly a product of the times I live in. When I was young, I was absolutely in love with Hannah Montana (I listened to her albums on CD), which has aptly grown into a love of Miley Cyrus and her artistry. Additionally, my father was a huge music inspiration for me – often playing The Beatles or The Grateful Dead on vinyl in our dining room on school nights.
When I was a teenager, I became extremely familiar with the electronic music scene in Colorado. You could find me at Beta or Red Rocks any given weekend. The music producer who inspired my love for EDM is Seven Lions – and is still a favorite. Now a bit older, you’ll find me listening to trance, house, and jam most frequently. I created Daily Puulse because I want to share my experiences and opinions as a seasoned concert and festival fanatic.
I see Daily Puulse as a place of discovery for music lovers, especially for those who live in the Denver area. At Daily Puulse, we want to create a space where you can find venue revues, hot takes, song and album recommendations, and get the scoop on what is happening in the Denver music scene. Yooo, I’m Anna!
Avid show attendee, obsessive music fanatic, and die-hard house lover. Music has always been more than just sound to me—it’s therapy, a way to process life, and a constant source of inspiration. Since I was a kid, I’ve spent hours digging through music, curating playlists, and insisting on being on aux. If a song catches my ear, you better believe I’m Shazam-ing it on the spot.
I grew up on jazz and old-school R&B, which definitely shaped my love for house and its endless subgenres—lofi, bass, techno, trance, deep, melodic, jazz, progressive, and beyond. Beyond house, I also enjoy bass, dubstep, experimental, instrumental, psychedelic, ambient, jazz, funk, old school hip-hop, amongst many others. When I moved to Colorado in 2016, my love for electronic music exploded. Denver’s scene is something special, and it’s one of the main reasons I stay here. The energy, the artists, and the community make it unlike anywhere else.
Beyond music, I’m all about creative expression—whether through abstract painting, doodling, personal style, or any outlet that lets me experiment. I also love a good game night, whether it’s arcade games, board games, pool, ping pong, or bowling. And when I’m not deep-diving into music or making a mess with paint, you’ll find me outside—hiking, biking, rollerblading, camping, or just basking in the sun like a lizard.

AmpersDan was raised on the deep-dish beats of Chicago, inspired by the techno soul of Detroit, and finally found his home in the mile-high city in 2021. A live music lover, he is always trying to learn about the “who” and “how” behind the magic. When not writing, AmpersDan can be found cooking up a storm, curating playlists, and dreaming of throwing his own events.
